PSP the true essence of Coriolus versicolor Cov-1

  • PSP (Polysaccharides "bounded with" peptides).
  • PSP formula is NO ordinary mushroom extract.
  • PURE deep layer cultivated mycelia, intracellularly extracted. ( Please, no used rice substrate, No mixture of fruiting body extract.)
  • The very exact substance used in research that shows immune modulation, and anti-cancer properties.

  • Immune-modulation. (Not only boosting, but also bi-directional balancing and optimizing.)
  • Inhibiting P388 leukemia, Ehrlic ascites, and human tumor cells.
  • Increases Natural Killer cells, Macrophages, IgG, IL-2 concentration.
  • More effective than PS-Kristin (PSK).
  • Most popular anti-cancer co-treatment supplement in Japan and China.
  • Benefits to HIV+, Hepatitis, other immune unbalancing.
  • Excellent vehicle, opens all channels, meridians.
  • Highly advantageous mixing within other formulas as an up take agent.

Reduction of cancer treatments' side effects

PSP= 82.96%

Among more than 200 types of mushrooms tested, the most potent strain examined was Coriolus versicolor in which PSK was extracted from Basidiomycetes reported from Japan in 1965 and PSP from strain Cov-1 (Yun zhi; Cloud mushroom) reported from China in 1984.
PSK and PSP are two protein bounded polysaccharide ingredients found in Coriolus.   A number of literatures works have proved that only those fungal polysaccharide that bound with protein can produce anti-tumor effect after oral administration to patients.

Mice were treated with daily i.p. injection of RPSP for 5 weeks, Sarcoma 180 cells were inoculated 2 weeks after starting the treatment of RPSP ( 0.5 mg and 2.0 mg). Note that the incidence of tumor mass was markedly lower in RPSP-treated mice.  (David C.Y. Kwan, Research Communications in Molecular Pathology and Pharmacology, 1996)

Most studies of medicinal properties of mushrooms were based on mycelia extract.

The difference is that mycelia is very young and in the most nutritious stage of mushroom, similar to the bean sprout of a bean. It is young and tender, without hard, woody fibers of cell wall as in fruiting body which surrounds the cell that prevents normal HUMAN digestion (it could be digested by cow and sheep with proper enzyme) and absorption, even prevents from conventional methods of extraction, (Pores are too small to allow exit of peptide bounded substances).

Any mushroom product extracted from fruiting body  gets mostly only polysaccharides (various types of sugar molecules) not much of amino acid, certainly will have very little of  PSP which is protein ( peptide) bounded polysaccharides.

  2. Effects of Protein-bound polysaccharide from a basidiomycetes against hepatocarcinogenesis induced by 3'-methyl-4-dimethylaminoazobenzene in rats.
  3. Activation of peritoneal macrophages by polysaccharopeptide from the mushroom, Coriolus versicolor.
  4. Oxidative stress relief for cancer-bearing hosts by the protein-bound polysaccharide of Coriolus versicolor QUEL with SOD mimicking activity.
  5. Polysaccharopeptide from Coriolus versicolor has potential for use against human immunodeficiency virus type 1 infection.
  6. Polysaccharopeptide from the mushroom Coriolus versicolor possesses analgesic activity but does not produce adverse effects on female reproductive or embryonic development in mice.
